With over 27 years of bespoke picture framing experience we can frame your
artwork to your exact requirements and offer expert
advice to help enhance the presentation.
We have a selection of over 500 mouldings to choose from including a range
of hand-made swept frames and ready-made frames for posters and photographs.
Whatever we frame, from originals
to prints, photographs, even newsprint
we use Artcare mountboard that will
not yellow or brown in the bevel next
to the artwork but keep its fresh new
look over time whilst also actively
protecting the artwork from airborne
pollutants that do damage.
In fact the active acid-blocking
technology used in these products can
even slow the deterioration of already damaged
old prints by actively extracting pollutants from the artwork!
For total clarity and when maximum impact is required Art Decor Gallery can offer
the clearest glass on the market with the added benefit of Ultra Violet protection.
Anti-Reflective coatings on both sides of the glass eliminate reflections and allows more light
to transmit through the glass which is why it is the choice of many of the worlds leading museums and art galleries.
A cricket bat and a signed football were turned into pieces of
sculptural art by mounting them inside perspex boxes and
adding engraved plaques to describe the contents.
We have created similar artworks from golf clubs, tennis racquets,
squash racquets, bowling balls, cricket equipment,archery bows
and many other items of sporting equipment.
Tapestries & Embroideries
We specialise in framing tapestries, embroideries, needlepoint, samplers etc.
Quite often customers will bring their tapestries to us to rectify because
they have not been happy with the standard of framing elsewhere.
Football and other sport shirts can be framed
in a variety of styles and can also include text,
engraved plaques, event programmes,
tickets and/or photographs.
